Safari Moto Hire t/a BMW-MotoAdventures specialize in BMW based motorcycle tours in Southern Africa and inSouth America. We are passionate about adventure, the outdoors and motorcycles. Our aim is to offer our clients a once in a lifetime experience be it in Africa or inSouth America, while sharing our passion for freedom on a motorcycle. We offer guided tours; self guided tours as well as motorcycle rentals all with the option of a 4×4 backup service.

In Southern Africa we cover spectacular areas that include the splendidGarden Routein theWestern Cape, the barren deserts ofNamibia, the salt pans ofBotswanaand the white washed beaches ofMozambique. In South America, we coverArgentina,Chile,Peru,Boliviaand we also follow the DAKAR Rally. Both continents have excellent conditions for biking with good roads (tarred & gravel), exciting country tracks and excellent weather.

We supply dual purpose motorcycles such as the BMW GS range,Dakarand Adventure. Honda’s Africa Twin, Trans Alp, Varadero and KTM are all suitable. Bring your own bikes or rent one of ours. Our tour leaders will accompany the route by motorcycle for local tours, and for long distance and cross-country tours an assistant guide in a support vehicle will escort the tour as well. Baggage, supplies and spares will be carried in the support vehicle.

Tourscan be customized, to meet your specific needs – such as, timing, areas to be visited, guide experience and language requirements.
Accommodation can range from Luxury Lodges, comfortable Country Hotels, B&B’s , Backpackers and Safari style Camping.
4×4 back-up vehicles with 2/3 bike trailers are available and are mandatory for cross boarder tours. A back-up motorcycle is available to groups.
GPS Hardware, software and brackets can be arranged.
Radio communication and intercom headsets can also be arranged.
Touring panniers, top boxes and tank bags can be fitted to motorcycles depending on availability.
Whilst it is always best to tour with your own safety equipment, we hire Open and Full face Helmets at a reasonable rate.

We pride ourselves in supplying late model, low-mileage BMW Motorcycles. This ensures that you, the motorcyclist, enjoy peace of mind when renting the motorcycles. Known for their reliability as well as comfort and safety, all BMW’s are equipped with ABS brakes and heated grips. You can rest assured that you have the best motorcycle at your disposal.
